ABOUT THE BOOK

Storms don’t always arrive with warning labels. One diagnosis, one betrayal, one financial hit, one church split, one unexpected phone call—and suddenly, the entire deck of your life and leadership feels like it’s sliding.

Juanderful Leadership: The Titanic Series, Faith, Focus, and Strategy When the Ship Tilts is a faith-driven leadership manual for those moments.

1. The Heart Behind the Titanic Series

God first revealed the Titanic metaphor to me during a season when everything around me was shifting — ministry, business, relationships, and even my personal identity. I felt the unsettling tilt long before the full impact hit, and the Holy Spirit reminded me of the warnings the Titanic received but ignored. In prayer, God began to show me that leadership often collapses not from one catastrophic blow, but from the signals we overlook: the emotional icebergs, spiritual red flags, relational currents, and internal storms. He opened my eyes to the way leaders drift when they stop listening, how small cracks become major collisions, and how pride, pressure, or exhaustion can make us believe we’re “unsinkable.” In that moment, God whispered, “I’m teaching you to hear the warning signs again.”

As He continued dealing with me, the full metaphor unfolded — the collision, the tilt, the chaos on deck, the hidden ruptures beneath the surface, and the desperate search for lifeboats. God showed me how every leader experiences these phases: the unexpected hit, the imbalance that follows, the frantic attempts to control outcomes, and finally, the lifeboat moments where we must choose humility, surrender, and strategic wisdom. But He didn’t stop there. He revealed the beauty of recovery — that He rebuilds, restores, and resurrects leaders who survive the tilt. The Titanic story became a prophetic blueprint for how to lead through crisis, how to anchor yourself in faith, and how to rise again even when you’ve taken on water. This metaphor didn’t come from history…it came from Heaven, delivered in a season when I needed God to steady my own ship.
